Discipleship is experiencing God's grace changing our lives in extraordinary and often, very ordinary, ways. God is the one who reaches out to us with his love and mercy. Our response is to grow in Christian discipleship. We place ourselves in position to receive God's grace through the avenues that he gives it. This begins with our worship on Sunday mornings. This is the most important place that God's grace comes to us and shapes us. Why? Because all of the avenues that God's grace come to us are present in a unique way in our worship. But, we also pursue these avenues outside of our worship as well. We also pursue discipleship through Sunday Classes, Care Groups, Triads, and Prayer Services, which bring the word of God, prayer, and fellowship to us as disciplines in which we long to grow. At Wheatland, we don't expect you to look a certain way, like a certain music, or even hold to all of our theological nuances. But as disciples, we seek to push the gospel of Jesus further than simply conversion - we long to experience it in every sphere of life.
